Alzheimers is a disease does not know the boundaries of race or gender. It’s affects are not only devastating for the individual but also for the caregivers and the families of its victims. It is not just a physical hurt but and emotional one as precious memories of friends and family are replaced with frustration, loss of independence and eventualy death. I know many friends and have family members struggling with the disease and careing for their loved ones. It was very hard to see the effect this disease had on my own Pop before he passed away three years ago. It is my hope that we can give some comfort to those suffering by making this show’s donation to the Alzheimer’s Association. Let’s help wipe out this disease so we never forget where we come from and we can all continue making this world a better place for everyone.
