MZ Tap
Tap is a skill that is so very useful to musical theatre performers. It is a specialty that gives you an edge when auditioning. Tap is what got Miss Merrideth into theatre and she wants to pass this skill along to her students that want to take their performance to the next level. Miss Merrideth will arm you with all your basics for good, clean sounding tap dance. Tap is a fun way to get exercise and have fun. Miss Merrideth studied tap in NY and has taught at several schools in the Atlanta area including Evening at Emory’s adult education program. Some of her younger company tappers have performed at the Savion Glover pre show. Classes will be divided by age and then ability. Come let Miss Merrideth get you started! Who knows, it could become a lifetime passion like it has been for her.
An note from MZ
I want everyone to have fun and get the most out of the class - so I am dividing the classes by ability. After the first class, I may switch you to the other class. Please be flexible - this change is meant to help everyone feel challenged but not overwhelmed.
If everyone is on-board, we may do a mini session to have a few more lessons for the rest of the semester -- but for now, the session is 10 weeks.
